MAPfresh from Gas Link Group is a complete range of food-grade gas mixtures developed for Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) across the food manufacturing and processing industries. Each blend is precisely formulated using Carbon Dioxide (CO₂), Nitrogen (N₂), and Oxygen (O₂) to protect product quality, extend shelf life, and reduce waste.

By tailoring the balance of these gases, MAPfresh mixtures help slow microbial growth, preserve natural colour, and maintain product texture and freshness — ensuring food looks and tastes as good as the day it was packed. Our standard MAPfresh range includes:

  • MAPfresh 25% CO₂ + 75% O₂ – Commonly used for fresh red meats to maintain colour and freshness.

  • MAPfresh 30% CO₂ + 70% N₂ – Suitable for bakery and dried foods to inhibit mould growth.

  • MAPfresh 5% O₂ + 20% CO₂ + 75% N₂ – Specially formulated for fresh salad leaves and lettuce to retain crispness and extend shelf life.

  • MAPfresh 50% CO₂ + 50% N₂ – Ideal for cheese, cooked meats, and other chilled foods requiring extended storage.
